The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office was established in 1889 to provide professional law enforcement to the citizens of Cleveland County, Oklahoma through efficient and effective methods.  This mission encompasses functions of courthouse security, civil process, operation of detention facility, investigations and community patrol.

In these next four years, my deputies will expand their contact in the community with the purpose of serving the public to the best of their ability. “I look forward to serving as Sheriff for another four years". “It is an honor and privilege and together we can work to keep Cleveland County safe for all residents.”

Citizens interested in joining the committee must be at least 20 years old or older. Applicants should reside or own a business in Cleveland County. Participants can’t have any criminal history and must agree to a criminal history check.

FINGERPRINTING for any reason or purpose is done at 128 S Peters Ave in downtown Norman from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, except for federal holidays and Thanksgiving week. Cost is $5 per card (both hands fit on one card). Cash only (please bring the correct change).


IMPORTANT – if you’re applying for a handgun license, the cost and payment method is different.
