TAX WARRANT DEPUTY


This agency currently has openings for the position of full-time commissioned deputy.  This deputy position will be assigned as a TAX WARRANT DEPUTY working in the Cleveland County Treasurer’s Office.  Commissioned Deputies must be self motivated, require minimal supervision, and promote high standards of honesty, integrity and fairness.  Deputies must also believe in an organizational culture that fosters teamwork.

All applicants, to include any non-full time commissioned deputy, full time law enforcement officers employed with another agency, or current CCSO full-time commissioned deputy personnel requesting a lateral transfer to this position, must meet the following requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age and be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid Oklahoma Drivers License.
Have no felony or major misdemeanors convictions.
Have no domestic abuse convictions.
Have no pending criminal charges.
Must have a high degree of ethical standards and moral character.
Must have sound judgment and the ability to think quickly. 
Must be available to be on call for any duty assignment.
Must not have any history of the sale of drugs for personal gain.
Must not have any history of the use of illegal hallucinogenic substances.
Cannot be on probationary status from another division/agency.
Must pass a background investigation.
Must pass a psychological assessment test.
Must pass drug screening test.
Must pass a polygraph examination.
